OVERVIEW
This course has been developed to introduce the advanced features of our Activprimary software. By following this course you will have developed the advanced skills required to use the software more effectively. By successfully completing the assessments and uploading a suitable flipchart, you will be awarded the Advanced Skills certificate.

CONTENT
This course introduces some of the more advanced features of Activprimary version 3. Participants can complete this course at their own pace. Information is provided through interactive tutorials, training flipcharts, text and exemplar material.

The course is divided into six topics. At the end of topics 1 to 5 there is an assessment sequence to complete. In the final topic participants are required to upload a flipchart which fulfils the criteria, as outlined in the course.

AUDIENCE
This course is for anyone who wants to use the advanced features of our Activprimary version 3 software.
Completion of the Activprimary Foundations Skills course is recommended.

SKILLS
Experience of email and web use is required. No prior experience of using Moodle, or any other VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) is necessary.

COURSE STRUCTURE
You will follow the course entirely online, working individually, with access to a forum should you require any assistance.

Topic 3 - Creating links

Topic 4 - Using the Resource Library & the Activresource Manager

Topic 5 - Containers, Restrictors and Actions

Topic 6 - Creating your own flipchart

CERTIFICATION
Promethean will award an Activprimary Advanced Skills certificate on successful completion of the course. Successful completion of the course is defined as completing all the assessments and producing a flipchart which fulfils the criteria, as outlined in the course. You will receive your certificate as a PDF.

WHAT YOU NEED
You will need a computer with a broadband internet connection. The computer must have a Flash Player 8 or above installed and Adobe Reader. These are available free on the internet. You will also need a copy of the Activprimary version 3 or above software.
